Straight from the DSEA website, and what happened to making informed decisions based on facts and data?
DSEA locals in six school districts recommended school board candidates for election on May 10, 2011
Why do we recommend people for school board? Because these people make important decisions about every aspect of local school district operations, policy and, of course, must approve the contract you bargain with your school district.
Todays News Journal says it all!
Few vote for school boards
Low turnouts magnify influence of special interests
What happened to it being about the students in Delaware?? If you look at all the political fodder being said about the board elections I see very few references to the importance of educating our children in the forefront! Get out an vote, after you get all the facts!!!!
